Hi, I started collecting vinyl Lp's and 45's in 1971, I have 20,000 + which I have moved now 4 times, and about to move again next year. So it's time to let at least half go. Most are in at least Excellent condition.  I can't listen to them all, so most will only have visual grading, any with a high start price, I will listen too, and play grade.

VINYL:-  VERY GOOD....

INNER SLEEVE :-  ORIGINAL EXCELLENT+.

ALBUM INFO:

This is the STONES 2nd Studio Album.... The Rolling Stones......This STEREO Original 1966  Press is now so Rare, Making this one of the rarest Rolling Stones albums of all time due to it being the first Rolling Stones album to be recorded entirely in the US, at the RCA Studios in California, and their first album released in true STEREO. It is also one of the earliest rock albums to eclipse the 50-minute mark, and contains one of the earliest rock songs to pass the 10-minute mark ("Goin' Home").  Not forgetting in 1966 most people didn't have good Stereo equipment so most records were ruined by being played on dancette type of gramophone. With heavy playing arms that often damaged the vinyl. A true ROLLING STONES Classic!  You would be hard pushed to see a better vinyl records they look hardly played. I don't need to tell you how many Lp's got scratched and ruined by heavy weighted arms and metal needles.  This is the SUPERIOR 1st PRESS version... So hard to find in any playable condition, as they have been squirrelled away in collections or worse thrown away, Nearly all copies that turn up have terribly worn Covers, mostly with the owners name written on them. I believe that there are very few better Condition Stones albums, you would be hard pushed to find better.

The sleeve is laminated to the front not on the back, without any Major creasing, NO WRITING OR MARKS. Mega Rare true stones classic.

RECORD LABEL:-   DECCA Records

YEAR OF ORIGINAL RELEASE/ COUNTRY OF MANUFACTURE:-  1966 UK

MODE/SPEED:  Stereo - 33RPM

CAT NUMBER:  LK 4661

VINYL AUDIO:   EXCELLENT (Minus)  :-  Due to the tick half way on "Goin' Home" No distortion, No Jumps, there is light crackle here and there   Bright Clear Sound.

VINYL VISUAL:  VERY GOOD : - Please look at the photo's, I've shot the light scratch on the pictures in the listing, The Record has had very few plays,  The vinyl is bright and has a shine..

SLEEVE:   EXCELLENT :- Look at the photo's... The wonderful original 1st press sleeve is clean, except for the light laminate lift at the spines edge, so it's 52 years young! The laminated cover is remarkable consider it's age, with the laminated front cover near new. Please look at the photos the cover is prone to wear due to the it's age. Black and white  back cover has no handling aging, blemishes, and a Near Perfect Spine but does have the rarer "STEREO" Sleeve. I try to give it all, A Sharp opening edge, please  (see photo's) still the back somehow it has survived without picking up much staining, so prone on 60's white backs. No so rare in this condition as they were not cheap at the time at over a pound and  the average wage being £35 at the time. Most copies were played to death. This Sleeve is in amazing condition.

INNER SLEEVE:  EXCELLENT. Original poly lined paper Decca type, ... No tear through, writing, or damage, being the very fragile inner sleeves are a great indicator of the amount of usage the album has had. I would say the inner is the best you could find! and considering how fragile these are.....it's now 52 years old, quite unbelievable intact condition.

LABELS:  Clean, very light spindle marks, no damage or writing

GRADING SYSTEM: In order to assist everyone who buys and sells rare discs, Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
