USA NEW OLD STOCK ORIGINAL 1980s PRESSING VINYL LP.
The following information is provided to enable approximate identification of exactly what copy this is, but it is only based on our experience plus some detective and guesswork:
This LP is new old stock from the original 1980s period of the album's release. It is not a recent re-press/re-issue. As it is still sealed, we cannot confirm which pressing plant or label design it has, and it is offered for sale on that basis. The vintage of the item can be verified by the fact that it still has a 1980s Kmart store price sticker attached (although the price has been blacked out). Whether this is the very first release with no Sting co-composer credit on 'Money for Nothing', we do not know. What we can be certain of is this is a first or early pressing from the mid-1980s that was simply never opened after purchase. The album was released on the 13th of May, 1985, and copies from late 1985/early 1986 had factory applied pink hype sticker advertising the hit singles 'Money for Nothing' and 'Walk of Life'. As this copy does not have this sticker and shows no sign or shadow from one being removed, it is likely a copy from the first batches into stores, anytime from May, 1985 onwards.
SLEEVE: SEALED WITH ORIGINAL KMART STORE STICKER ON TOP RIGHT FRONT.
DISC(S): MINT UNPLAYED.
