This LP marks the first release of previously unissued recordings from 1956, 1957 & 1960.
Side 1 is a 1956 session featuring Art Pepper with Warne Marsh, Ronnie Ball, Ben Tucker & Gary Frommer.
Side 2 has Art in 3 different quartet settings: Red Garland, Paul Chambers & Philly Joe Jones; Dolo Coker, Jimmy Bond & Frank Butler; & Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers & Jimmie Cobb.
