This is an ORIGINAL 1971 ATLANTIC RECORDS U.S. FIRST PRESSING of the self-titled debut LP from the late great singer / songwriter John Prine.  It is Atlantic Records U.S. catalog number SD 8296, packaged inside the cover in its original Atlantic Records stock inner sleeve with pictures of other then-current Atlantic Records LPs.

Condition of record is a nice high VG++/EX with a very few light visible surface marks which cannot be felt and will not affect play. Condition of cover is a low to mid VG+ with some wrinkles, some ring and contact wear, and some wear and some flaking along the edges and on the corners.  Atlantic Records stock inner sleeve has splits in all three edges which I have repaired with clear tape and some wrinkles and creases.  This FIRST PRESS LP would be a choice addition to any John Prine or 1970s singer / songwriter record collection!  FREE SHIPPING via USPS Priority Mail, handling time as stated above - SORRY, NO SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE U.S.   BUYER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP in the above stated condition if buyer is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
