Columbia Masterworks DL-220 12" LP record album in beautifully embossed fabric album with gilt titles and illustrations, applied flag lithograph, and attached 32-page illustrated book about the Civil War and the Confederate Army. Columbia Records proudly presents "The Confederacy" based on music of the South during the Years 1861-1865. Featuring the National Gallery Orchestra, conducted by Richard Bales; the Cantata Choir of the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, Mezzo-Soprano Florence Kopleff, Baritone Thomas Pyle, and Narrator Reverend Edmund Jennings Lee. Recorded at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. Includes an attached 32-page illustrated book about the Civil War, with essays by Bruce Catton, and Clifford Dowdey. Measures 14" x 12.5". Released 195? Condition: Record is close to near mint. Cover has some tape residue in upper right corner, otherwise it is in excellent condition as are the contents of the book inside. No promo or cut-out markings of any kind.
