The Beatles : A Hard Day's Night 3N / 3N 1st Press
This first mono pressing plays with stunning quality and rarely have I heard such impressive clarity and sonic quality.  There is not one single click or pops and no static or crackle either.  This is a record that has been so well preserved and is in fantastic condition for 56 years old!
This could be called a hybrid pressing and is perhaps very rare, I will explain!  The S1 label is definitely 'first press' with 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd...' around the perimeter and yet I have never seen this variation before.  The title 'Songs from the film A Hard Day’s Night' is shorter in width and is well within the '1' on the left and right.  This variation is not shown on thebeatles-collection site and not only that but the S2 label has 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' around the edge and has a completely different font!  This label is the first variation of the second pressing I believe.  I guess there was some mixing and matching of the labels in the factory and I am not sure how rare this is.  I have certainly never seen it before.
The cover is in excellent condition with only a little wear on the corners.  Otherwise it is in superb shape and the back cover is very clean for once with no obvious marking.

Play grading
I have played every track in full on S1 and I can confirm the playback is super impressive!  The first five tracks in particular are stunning and the clarity could hardly be any better.  There are no clicks or pops and no static or crackle either.   The final two tracks do have a little inner groove distortion but this could be greatly reduced I am sure when played as 'mono', I only a stereo system.  They still play with not one single click or pop.
'Any Time At All' on S2 plays with outstanding clarity and this 'high end' standard continues.  If anything this side plays even better if that is possible!  The first four tracks are 'as new' in my opinion, the audio is so precise and there is just no interference of any kind.  Wow!  'You Can't Do That' and 'I'll Be Back' end the album with only minimal distortion, the playback really is very strong.
Visual grading
This is one stunning vinyl!  It has a radiant glossy sheen and whilst there is some spindle wear there are no marks or scratches to be seen.  It really is visually so impressive!  There is only one hairline on S1 that is a little obvious and S2 is equally as good with only a couple of tiny 'specks' and a handful of mega faint sleeve removal hairlines.  A superb vinyl!
The Cover
The 'Patents pending' G&L cover is in excellent condition with only minimal wear.  The top edge is perfect and the bottom edge just has one small area of wear on the laminate.  The spine is very clean apart from a little wear on the corners and remains 100% legible.  The right hand corners have a little wear as can be seen and the opening edge has just a little handling wear.  The laminated front cover is in superb order with no marking and all you can see is the wear on the corners which is not major anyway.  The back cover for once is incredibly clean with only the bare minimum of fading next to the opening edge.  It is a fine example and the flipbacks are in superb clean with no staining and they remain in place.  There is just one very small area of wear top right and bottom left.
The Emitex Inner
This has some creasing and one side split but no marking.  The original owner typed The Beatles and the album title in the top left corner of each side for some reason!
The Labels
They are very clean but do have a little spindle wear and a small sticker on each side.
Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable // B & W 684 Speakers
This record has been professionally cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine
