Obituary Dead RED Vinyl Record

If you are not familiar with our grading / combined shipping rates etc. , please read the entire auction

Please refer to my grading below to get a clear understanding of the condition

Record is in new Condition

Cover is in new Condition

A good portion of the lps I get from this label have small corner bends that appear to be from overtight cellophane. Not sure why they shrink wrap them because they open and take out of cover  for shipping. These are usually 1/8 to 1/4 inch. Please be aware you may get a record with small bends , no returns because of it.  If its important to be mint, ask me if I have a copy without a bend.

Record has been opened and taken out of sleeve for 2 reasons , to check the color of the vinyl , and for safe shipping -- to avoid "seam splits" in shipping. This is a new unplayed item.

There has been a disturbing trend in record collecting "The MINT ONLY" collector who doesn't buy music to open , listen to, and enjoy but instead combs over them looking for the slightest flaw to complain about.
This type of collector wants to return everything at sellers expense , and because the average profit on a new record is $5 this means the seller loses money.  For this reason I simply cannot deal with the "MINT ONLY" collector
Usually new records  will have tiny flaws of some sort when I receive them  , like a small corner bend or small seam split or a factory scuff on the recor itself  , edge not cut perfectly etc.   .  I always try to list any corner bumps or seam splits if present   I DO NOT SELL MINT RECORDS , If you are a mint only collector you should shop at your local store. Factories are not producing mint records and delivery companies are not delivering mint records.  We need to remember that music is for our ears to enjoy and worrying over "mint condition"   just makes the hobby less enjoyable.

GRADING

MINT -- True mint means perfect in EVERY way and NEVER played BOTH , many people say true mint does not even exist , so many people on ebay use the word mint "loosely" I don't use mint at all except in extreme examples of perfection

NM This means the item is like brand new should not have any flaws (I rarely use this grade either except for the finest quality items -- If I see 2 very light scratches , its not NM )

VG++ Item has VERY few VERY light marks not affecting play , only very small very few defects to the cover. Almost all collectors I sell to are happy with this condition. If you are a picky collector who only wants really nice items I don't recommend items lower than VG++ condition

VG+ Item has signs of regular use . Item will have a number of light marks not affecting play , Signs of cover wear to the edges , ringwear , corner bends , seam split etc. Serious collectors usually don't like these items , VG+ items are more for the person who wants to play them and is not picky about condition

VG Item would be an item played heavily and with not much care to preserve its condition has a lot of marks and often heavy wear to the cover , still plays fine

VG- or G these items are beat up badly , will still play but not sounding as good as they should I don't sell very many items in this condition unless they are rare

In business for over 20 years.  My main focus is 1980's to mid 1990's Heavy Metal Music.  From the mainstream to the most obscure and from glam to death metal .  We buy and sell.  When you buy from me you are not buying from a faceless corporation that doesn't care about the music and throws your items in a piece of crap mailer.
I am a collector and avid metal fan , its a lifestyle for me not just a business.  My goal is to one day open a brick and mortar Heavy Metal Museum and Store , your purchases will help me reach for that goal.
