Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac) End Of The Game, Orig UK Reprise LP, VG+/VG+ 1st Pr. Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac) End Of The Game, Orig UK Reprise LP, VG+/VG+ 1st Pr. Description

Original UK Reprise label stereo press LP.

Peter Green's first solo album was recorded in June 1970 in London and released in December. Peter Green had just quit Fleetwood Mac in May and appeared at the Bath Festival in June with John Mayall. He then went into a studio with Zoot Money, Alex Dmochowski and Godfrey McLean for an extended jam session. The results were later edited down, possibly by Martin Birch & Peter Green and issued by Reprise Records
.

This is the original issue with the RSLP 9006 catalogue numbers on the labels and the early A-1 B-1 matrices & C-1 i-2 stampers of the first presses.

The MacNeill Press fully laminated gatefold sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some light corner/edge wear and some light laminate rubbing/creasing on the cover. The spine is intact, with some laminate lifting along the spine and fully readable, the plain inner is intact & in EX condition.

The record is in visually VG+ condition, with a few faint sleeve removal hairlines and a couple of light needle scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a few spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is VG+ to EX, still clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some low background noise during the run in grooves and briefly in a couple of the quieter passages. Overall, still a really good, loud & lively listen.   The matrix nos. are; RSLP-9116, A-1 stamper C-1, B-1 stamper i-2. This is one of early copies of the first pressing of the original UK stereo issue of this 1970 album!
