Original UK Deram red label stereo press LP.

The first compilation album by Ten Years After, released in March 1972. It was put together by Deram after the band had quit and signed with Columbia/Chrysalis Records in 1971. The tracks include previously unreleased material and alternative takes of earlier tracks.

This is the original issue with the small red Deram Stereo labels and the Arial text font on the labels. With the earliest P-1W P-1W matrices and 2b-UI 1-UC stampers of the first presses.

  The Senol Printing Ltd front laminated gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner/edge wear and some light laminate rubbing on the outer cover and some light rubbing the rear cover. The spine is intact and fully readable and the Decca company inner is intact & in EX condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two light needle scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of faint spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud hiss, pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief low background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & clear listen.   The matrix nos. are; ZAL-11155-P-1W stamper 2b-UI, ZAL-11155-P-1W stamper 1-UC. This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1972 UK stereo issue of this album!
