I will be adding Jazz lps every day this week, as many as I can make time for. 1981 1st anywhere issue US Galaxy of Art Pepper: 5 Birds & a Monk. Includes Joe Farrell, Roy Haynes, Johnny Griffin, Joe Henderson, John Klemmer, Stanley Cowell and Cecil McBee. The saxophonists take a turn at interpreting a tribute to Charlie Parker with these all star rhythm sections. There are more than a couple of surprises in who has their chops to this. But they are all refreshing takes, and a delight of a listen. Pepper was great in most of the decades he played, unlike most other players who lived a while. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
