Pink Floyd : The Final Cut A1/B2 1st Press
This first pressing plays to an unbelievable standard with a clarity that is equal to that of any un-played record.  In fact there is no spindle wear on the labels and based on that and the audio quality I would not be surprised if it had never been on a turntable.  There is just one click on S1 but I am sure that is down to a pressing issue as there is nothing on the vinyl causing it.  Aside from that the clarity and definition of the audio on both sides is stunning.
The gatefold is also in superb condition with no obvious wear and the original inner has also been preserved very well.
With international shipping (including Europe now) I will declare a lower amount so as to decrease/avoid any Customs' fees.

Visual grading
The vinyl is in beautiful condition and still has a jet-black glossy sheen as per a new vinyl.  There are no marks or scratches and I could only find one very small faint hairline on S1.  The run out grooves are pristine as are the labels which have no spindle wear at all.  A stunning example.
Play grading
'The Post War Dream' plays with amazing clarity from the very first groove.  The intro is of course so quiet and yet all I detected were a couple of dust ticks - as good a start that you could wish for!  The opening vocal is just as good and from then on the clarity does not falter.  The powerful end section has one light tick but overall this is Mint- for sure.
'Your Possible Pasts' plays to the same 'high end' standard from start to finish.  There are a couple of minor static ticks on the first verse but this is vinyl and that hardly qualifies as interference.  The clarity is again so impressive and the 'high octane' passages are 'as new' with no distortion.  A handful of dust ticks but audio doesn't really get any better than this.  Another Mint- track.
The intro on 'One Of The Few' plays beautifully with no intrusion - not even a dust tick!  The remainder plays with stunning precision and no minus is required here - it is Mint in every way!
'The Hero's Return' also plays with unbelievable sonic quality from the first note to the last.  Audio such as this only comes from a record that has hardly been played if at all.  Mint
The intro on 'The Gunner's Dream' plays very clearly with barely any static but there is one click.  There is nothing on the vinyl to suggest a cause so might just be a pressing fault.  The first verse is close to perfect with only a small number of mega quiet dust ticks and thereafter plays with stunning quality and no intrusion.  The mid sax solo has never played any better and the remainder is also 'as new'.  This is another track with so many quiet sections and yet the clarity throughout is incredible - so clean and precise.  I would grade the intro as Ex but is Mint- from that point on.
Trying hard not to repeat myself now but 'Paranoid Eyes' ends the side with near perfect clarity from start to finish.  There is just no 'background' apart from a couple of minor ticks on the fade out and Mint- is very much deserved.  Stunning!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'Get Your Filthy Hands Off My Desert' is Mint- from the first note to the last.  No need to elaborate!
'The Fletcher Memorial Home' plays with a clarity and depth that cannot be faulted.  There are no clicks or pops, no underlying static and only 3/4 mega light ticks half way through.  Once again I just cannot believe what I am hearing!  Mint-
'Southampton Dock' more than keeps this fine standard with stunning audio.  You can even hear the seagulls with perfect clarity throughout!  This is a phenomenal Mint version.
The quiet intro on 'The Final Cut' is flawless and from then on plays as a recently pressed vinyl would play.  This vinyl is fast approaching 40 years of age and yet this underrated track has audio of the highest calibre.  There are no negatives and every quiet section plus the more up tempo sections play with incredible precision.  This is MINT and then some!
'Not Now John' is of the same standard with no interference.  It plays with superb depth and power and there is no distortion on the top end whatsoever.  You know the grade - this is Mint
The acoustic intro on 'Two Suns In The Sunset' is 'as new' and I am pleased to say the rest is too!  Again the clarity is just STUNNING with not even a solitary dust tick to be heard.  There is nothing more to add - just sheer audio perfection from start to finish!  Mint obviously
In summary this first press plays to an superb standard and I do wonder if it has ever been played before.  The visual 'look' of the vinyl plus the audio quality certainly suggest that and it's just a little frustrating for there to be that one click on S1.  Aside from there is nothing to fault and the clarity truly is exceptional on both sides.  As stated this album has so many quiet sections and yet for them to play as 'cleanly' as this is a genuine rarity.  What an album!
The Gatefold & Inner Sleeve
The cover is in fantastic condition with no sign of any real wear if I'm honest.  The edges are nigh on perfect - just one 'speck' on a bottom edge - and the wide spine is also super clean with only a couple of specks.  There is no corner wear and the opening edge is also pristine.  The front cover is so clean and unmarked apart from one small 'nick' at the top of the sticker and one tiny scratch just above that.  The back cover is in perfect condition as is the inside of the gatefold.  This is a near perfect example of this cover with no bends or creases and has hardly been handled down the years.
The original die-cut black inner is in great shape with no rips or tears, just one faint mark on one side and minimal creasing.
