With takes on Duke Ellington’s ‘Mood Indigo’, her classic version of ‘My Baby Just Cares For Me’ and a cool original instrumental, it reflects Simone’s ambition at that time to be a classical concert pianist. Remastered by Grammy-winning engineer Michael Graves, and coming with an essay by Daphne A. Brooks in the liner notes.
