Title: Newport 1958
Release Date: 1958
Record/Vinyl Condition: Very Good+
Jacket Condition: Good+
Grading policy: *All records and sleeves are visually graded by the following guidelines.
- Near Mint - Nearly perfect record. For example, if you were to bring this record home and open it for the first time. No signs of wear on the sleeve and the insert. Record should not show signs of any wear.
- Very Good+ (VG+) - Very good+ will show signs of wear and handling, however the previous owner has taken really good care of it. Very light scuffs and scratches that will not affect the sound quality. Slight warps are also okay.
- Very Good+ Cover - The cover should only show signs of slight wear. Seam splits at the bottom that are less than an inch are acceptable for very good+. Some defacing is also acceptable, for example if there has been a cut-out marking.
- Very Good (VG) - Very good records will be less glossy/shiny and show signs of groove wear. Light scratches that are deep enough to feel with a fingernail. Surface noise will be evident, but will not interfere with the sound quality. Minor writing or a sticker that detracts from the label is acceptable for very good.
- Very Good Cover - The cover will show signs of ring wear, but does not overwhelm the overall appearance. Seam splitting could be on all 3 sides, but will not be obvious upon looking. Writing or a price tag is acceptable.
- Good - A grading of Good does not mean that the record is bad! A good record grading will play without skipping, but there will be evident surface noise and groove wear. The label will be worn and have significant ring wear, heavy writing or obvious damage.
- Good Cover - A Good cover grading will show obvious ring wear and will be a distraction to the appearance. The seam splits will be obvious upon looking and have heavy writing. Heavy writing would large writing across the front or back of the cover.
