‘Scaled And Icy’ is the sixth studio album from American superstars Twenty One Pilots. Its title is an anagram of ‘Clancy Is Dead’, a reference to the protagonist of the duo’s last outing ‘Trench’. Following a brace of stand-alone singles in 2020, the new album reflects the themes of isolation and dread of that benighted year, recorded remotely and almost entirely by Tyler Joseph at his home studio.
