Original UK Mountain label stereo press LP.
The Sensational Alex Harvey Band's seventh and final studio album recorded in June 1977 at Basing Street Studio's in London and finally released in March 1978. The band had spilt up in 1976, after Alex Harvey walked out, but reformed and recorded an album without him. After Hugh McKenna also quit the next year, Alex rejoined the band in mid-1977. The resultant album was recorded by November 1977 with a track, "No Complaints Department" being the final studio track completed. The sleeves were all printed and ready to go, but Alex got cold feet over a line about the death of his brother and persuaded ex-band mate Jimmie Grimes not to sign the contract for its use. 'Mrs Blackhouse' was recorded instead and released as a single & used on the album. Acetates, 45's & test pressings do exist and early German issues have the song, but the song was never offically released in the UK....
This is the original issue with the stickered sleeve and the 'Mrs Blackhouse' track, with the early A//1 B//3 matrices & 1-1-5 1-3-1 of the first presses.
The Robert Stace matt sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some corner/edge wear and some storage rubbing/creasing on the cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact & in VG+ condition.
