This quintessential release presents the rare and long out of print South African edition of the Jailhouse Rock LP (1958), which marked the album's lone appearance on the 12-inch format. Five of the six songs performed by Elvis in the movie Jailhouse Rock were originally issued in 1957 on the eponymous 7-inch EP released worldwide.
