UFO : No Place To Run A1/B4 1st Press

For this auction I am selling a number of progressive/heavy rock records that have been so well preserved down the years and many of them hardly played.  I am moving house soon so want to 'shift' a lot of my stock quickly so unfortunately do not have the time to describe each track in detail as I generally do.  However, I will still play every track in full so as to provide a 'complete' grading.

This first pressing plays with exceptional audio throughout with barely any intrusion.  The clarity and depth of the audio is stunning and there is just the one very light click on S2 and hardly any static.  The playback is superb!  The cover is in excellent condition with only minimal wear and the inner sleeve is also in excellent order.

Visual grading

This is another UFO vinyl in superb condition that has hardly been played.  It has a stunning jet-black glossy sheen with no marks or scratches and I can only detect a couple of very faint sleeve removal hairlines on S1.  The grooves are unbelievably clean as are the labels with only one very faint spindle trace on each side.

Play Grading

The instrumental 'Alpha Centauri' plays very clearly with barely any static and is easily a Near Mint start to the album.  'Lettin' Go' is faultless and plays with great power and depth.  The acoustic intro on 'Mystery Train' is nigh on perfect with just one very light tick and from then on plays with stunning clarity and no 'background'.  The final two tracks also play with wonderful precision and...no interference.

'Young Blood' on S2 is 'as new' with no intrusion and 'No Place To Run' also plays with STUNNING audio!  The power and resonance is 'high end' and the quieter 'Take It Or Leave It' plays beautifully with a clarity that can hardly be faulted, just a couple of barely audible static moments.  The intro on 'Money, Money' is flawless and the remainder plays to perfection.  'Any Day' has only the lightest of static in the quieter sections plus one very light click but aside from that plays with great quality for a final track.

The Cover & Inner Sleeve

The cover is in excellent condition with only minimal rubbing on the edges and only a couple of rubs on the spine.  The corners have only minimal wear and the opening edge has no handling wear at all.  The front and back cover are super clean with no marks just a handful of very minor 'lines'.  The poly-lined 'Plastic Bags...' inner is in excellent shape with no marks etc, just some creasing.

This record has been professionally cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine
