Tubeway Army - That's Too Bad/ Oh! Didn't I Say
Bombers/ Blue Eyes/ O.D. Receiver
(Beggars Banquet BACK 2 UK 2 x 7" Single 1979)
This is an original 1979 UK Double 7" Single pressing in great overall condition! This is the rare UK mispressing which omits the track "O.D. Receiver" on the B-side of the "Bombers" single. It is listed on the sleeve and on the label. This double pack 7" single is a combination of the first two UK Tubeway Army singles.
This single has a gatefold sleeve which is printed on matt card. The sleeve is side opening. This copy has the "That's Too Bad" front cover. The records are pressed on thick vinyl & have red "Beggars Banquet" paper labels. These have a solid centre. The records have 1st press A-2U/ B-1U and A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers.
As stated, this is the much rarer UK pressing which does not include the track "O.D. Receiver". It is listed on the sleeve and label. I also have some other rare & collectable Tubeway Army/ Gary Numan records for sale. So please see my other items.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is light or very minor rubbing wear on the spine edges on a few areas. This doesn't notice that much. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear on some areas. Very Good++ condition.
Vinyl 1: There are a very few light or very minor sleeve rubs which can barely be seen under a strong light. The sleeve, over time, has left one very minor dull surface mark, on a small area on one side. This, again, can only be seen under a strong light. A strong EXCELLENT condition. The labels are in Near Mint condition and show next to no spindle wear.
I have play tested this 7" Single in its entirety & it plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in a few quieter places.
Vinyl 2: There are a very few light or very minor sleeve rubs which can barely be seen under a strong light. EXCELLENT+ condition. The labels are in Near Mint condition and show next to no spindle wear.
I have play tested this 7" Single in its entirety & it plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in a few quieter places.
I shall place each record into a separate plain paper sleeve. This will protect the original picture sleeve from any damage during transit.
Traceable insurance is already included in the stated P&P price for this listing.
Discount is given on P&P for multiple purchases. I shall always weigh combined purchases to get a completely accurate price. So please wait for the invoice to be sent before paying. Please see below for a more detailed description.
AN INVOICE WILL BE SENT TO YOU VERY SOON AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS. PLEASE WAIT FOR THIS BEFORE PAYING.
Royal Mail have very recently increased their postage rates. So I have revised my postage costs to reflect their increases. (Please note that these prices include packaging costs too)
Double LPs are classed as two LPs. Also posters, inserts, etc.. can increase postage costs. One parcel must not exceed 2kg (approximately 4-6 LPS).
All records will be sent in high quality vinyl mailers with at least two card stiffeners either side of the LP or 7" Single. I use a cruciform box for larger orders (3-6 LPs). All parcels will be marked "Fragile" and dispatch time will generally be between 1-3 days after payment.
I will also remove the vinyl from the sleeve & place them in a re-sealable polythene sleeve. In order to prevent seam splits. Depending on the inner sleeve; I often remove the vinyl from the inner sleeve & place it in a separate plain paper, or polythene-lined, plain inner sleeve. I am very conscientious and careful when packaging your LP(s).
I consider my postage & packaging costs to be very transparent & very fair. Packaging costs will generally be between £0.80 to £1.50. I am not adding any further costs for handling, etc...
If you are uncertain about any of the above, or just simply want some information regarding any item, please do not hesitate to contact me. I welcome any questions.
Remember to check out Lots of rare & quality vinyl! Most are UK 1st Pressings. It is quite likely that there will be more records by this artist, or records in a similar vein.
