THE RAMONES – Blitzkrieg ’76. FACTORY SEALED NEW VINYL RECORD ALBUM. The previous issue of this album is listed as live in Boston, May 12, 1976 at The Club, Cambridge, complete show from the soundboard. 20-tracks. This more recent reissue (circa 2021 and on black vinyl as far as I know) shows up on some searches as being from December 5, 1976 at The Club, Cambridge, Mass., though nothing is stated on the jacket. Why the discrepancies? I don’t know. This has been reissued a number of times. Either way it’s the same show; this is one of the best available performance/recordings from the early years.

DESCRIPTION,  from a an earlier pressing that I put together (Blitz/Krieg 76A/76B):  This show was recorded on May 12, 1976 at the The Club in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and broadcast on WBCN FM during the Road To Ruin days. Great run of material from the first two albums. Right from the start you know this is gonna be a great ride as they kick off the show with their, then, brand new single Blitzkrieg Bop. Gabba gabba, we accept ya, we accept ya, one of us! Onetwothreefour!! Ahhh, the memories!!!

THIS ITEM IS NEW AND UNPLAYED. Used items will include condition details for the cover, disc, inserts, etc.

All LPs are removed from their jackets and placed outside of the jacket for shipping. If an album comes sealed (and will be noted as such in the above description), it will be shipped whole unless you request that I open it up to place the disc outside of the jacket for shipping. Both jacket and disc are placed inside of an outer plastic sleeve before packing for shipping. I use professional corrugated record mailers with inside packing.

NEW LP:  This item is new and unplayed, but was received from a supplier without being shrink wrapped or cellophane wrapped; more common on imports but also many of the smaller independent US labels do not seal their LPs. These items are placed inside of a clear poly outer sleeve upon their receipt by me

 

GFC:  Gate fold cover.

 

LTD EDT:  Limited, as in limited edition. If I know the press run number it will be included in the above description.

MIX:  This sometimes appears in my title line and refers to a group's/artist's music having a mix of styles such a rock track with jazz then followed by a straight rock track followed by a psych rock track, etc., as opposed to a blues album with the album's tracks having predominantly one style.

$1.25 for each additional single LP set and/or

$1.50 for each additional double LP set.
