JACKIE McLEAN 1965 Consequence BLUE NOTE 1st Pressing LT-994 Lee Morgan , earliest anywhere US Blue Note labels for this 1979 Original Pressing of a shelved 1965 session. They must have just been overwhelmed with releases to leave this in the archive, as it is as good as if not better than some of its near neighbours in Jackie's output, as well as people on it. Unfortunately, this sold nothing as McLean was out of fashion back then. The Japanese issue goes for big money, they are more readily available but very few super clean near mint examples of the 1st US issue ever reach the market, a VG sold for £65 (with postage) in 2021, my postage is lower than US sellers, who are now £24 to £30 then also plus import tax as it comes in to the country. Here is one. Clean low plays no scratches near mint vinyl in a import punched sleeve, with a tiny chip to the rear of the opening, minimal damage. I'll add more Jazz in the week ahead. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
