Hi! You're looking at a SUPERB condition RARE and hard to find Vinyl Record on the RCA Red Seal label pressed in 1958 on the bright red "Shaded Dog" labels and a brilliant recording of the "Spring Sonata" No. 5 in F Major, Opus 24 composed by LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN and Sonata No. 8 in C Major, K.296 composed by WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART which are performed by violinist JASCHA HEIFETZ and pianist EMANUEL BAY.. The LP is on the RCA Victor Red Seal label with the bright red "Shaded Dog" label, bears the serial number LM-1022, is a mono recording and is a 2nd Pressing made in the United States in 1958.
This LP is in SUPERB condition and the vinyl is in beautiful, NEAR MINT condition and should play beautifully, with just a couple of very light paper scuffs and a couple of slight pressing bubbles that should not significantly affect play but NO other significant imperfections (please note that with any violin / piano sonata recording of this vintage there may possibly be a couple of light tics in a couple of places due to the presence of many quiet passages); the cover is also in NEAR MINT condition with beautiful surfaces and NO splits or bent corners, a tiny sticker shadow on the upper right corner of the front surface and just very slight shelfwear on the back surface but NO other singificant flaws--it's NOT a cutout1 The ORIGINAL RCA RECORDS INNER SLEEVE is also included and in beautiful shape, with a light ding on one of the lower corners and no other significant flaws.
Vinyl Grading Standards (unless otherwise indicated, LPs are visually graded)
Mint (or M) – Sealed and effectively perfect with no signs of wear or ever having been played.
Near Mint -- A record with only the slightest evidence of ever having been handled.
Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) A very clean record that has no marks aside from slight scuffs and abrasions caused by removal from a paper inner sleeve or perhaps a few marks on the label caused by a turntable spindle.
Very Good Plus (VG+) A record that has had a number of plays and may have some superficial scuffs, possibly mild to moderate spindle marks and / or possibly hairline scratches on the vinyl, which may produce some intermittent pops and possibly very light background noise.
Very Good (VG) A record that has generally been well cared for, but has seen a fair amount of play, with some scuffing. hairline scratches, spindle marks and / or light scratches. Should play through well, with the possibility of more pops and more background noise.
Very Good Minus (VG-) A record with significant scuffs, scratches, and spindle marks that should play through with moderate pops and surface noise, possibly of some duration.
Good (G) A record with will play through, but with significant pops, substantial background noise, and possibly intermittent skipping.
Poor (P) A record with MAJOR issues that will interfere with play, and will possibly be unplayable in part due to damage (I'll only offer an LP in this condition if it's an extreme rarity and / or for cover art display purposes).
