Hi! You're looking at a SUPERB overall condition FIRST PRESSING with 6s / 3s stampers in the runout grooves and a RCA LIVING STEREO Vinyl Record on the RCA Victor Red Seal label issued in 1958 on the bright red "Shaded Dog" labels and a brilliant recording of "Harold in Italy" composed by HECTOR BERLIOZ and performed by conductor CHARLES MUNCH and the Boston Symphony and featuring WILLIAM PRIMROSE on viola. The LP is on the RCA Victor Red Seal label with the bright red "Shaded Dog" label, bears the serial number LSC-2228, is a LIVING STEREO recording and is a 1st PRESSING with 6S / 3S stampers in the runout grooves made in the United States in 1958.
This LP is in SUPERB condition and the vinyl plays beautifully and is in NEAR MINT- condition, with two prominent moderate scuffs at the start of side two which did NOT significantly affect play and just some very light paper scuffs otherwise that do not significantly affect play and NO other significant flaws (THIS LP HAS BEEN SOUND-GRADED IN ITS ENTIRETY and except for a few slight and isolated non-repeating tics in a couple of spots plays FLAWLESSLY and sounds fantastic!); the cover is in beautiful NEAR MINT condition with slight dings on the lower spine tip and upper left opening edge of the back cover and just slight shelfwear but NO other significant flaws--it's NOT a cutout! The ORIGINAL RCA INNER SLEEVE is also included and in beautiful shape with NO significant flaws!
Vinyl Grading Standards (unless otherwise indicated, LPs are visually graded)
Mint (or M) – Sealed and effectively perfect with no signs of wear or ever having been played.
Near Mint -- A record with only the slightest evidence of ever having been handled.
Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) A very clean record that has no marks aside from slight scuffs and abrasions caused by removal from a paper inner sleeve or perhaps a few marks on the label caused by a turntable spindle.
Very Good Plus (VG+) A record that has had a number of plays and may have some superficial scuffs, possibly mild to moderate spindle marks and / or possibly hairline scratches on the vinyl, which may produce some intermittent pops and possibly very light background noise.
Very Good (VG) A record that has generally been well cared for, but has seen a fair amount of play, with some scuffing. hairline scratches, spindle marks and / or light scratches. Should play through well, with the possibility of more pops and more background noise.
Very Good Minus (VG-) A record with significant scuffs, scratches, and spindle marks that should play through with moderate pops and surface noise, possibly of some duration.
Good (G) A record with will play through, but with significant pops, substantial background noise, and possibly intermittent skipping.
Poor (P) A record with MAJOR issues that will interfere with play, and will possibly be unplayable in part due to damage (I'll only offer an LP in this condition if it's an extreme rarity and / or for cover art display purposes).
