The Beatstalkers - Ev'rybody's Talking 'Bout My Baby/ Mr. Disappointed

(Decca F12259 UK 7" 1965)

This is the original UK 7" pressing in very nice condition! The record has blue & silver "Decca" labels which have a 4 pronged centre. There is a period (1960's) record shop "E" sticker on the A-side label. This, I believe, was an "HMV" price banding sticker at the time. The record has 1st press -1C/ -1C matrix stampers. It comes complete with its original Decca company paper sleeve.

The A-side is a very good Beat Dancer track which has a Freakbeat feel to it too. The B-side is also a a very good Beat/ Mod Dancer track. They are both available to hear on Youtube if you are unfamiliar with them. They are worth checking out. I have some other rare 1960's Beat/ Freakbeat/ Psych UK 7" Singles for sale. So please see my other items.

Vinyl: There is a very light 2 cm "L" shaped hairline surface rub mark on the A-side. This doesn't notice that much under a strong light. There is an extremely minor 1 cm hairline surface rub mark at the start of the A-side. Again, this hardly notices under a strong light. Otherwise, there are a few light, very mild or very minor sleeve rubs which can barely be seen under a strong light. NEAR EXCELLENT condition. As stated, there is a small period record shop "E" sticker on the A-side label. Otherwise, the labels are superb & show minimal spindle wear only. The company paper sleeve is in Near Excellent condition. It shows some light, very mild or very minor ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have play tested this single in its entirety & it plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall. There are no clicks or pops, A great audio copy!

Traceable insurance is already included in the stated P&P price for this listing.

Discount is given on P&P for multiple purchases. I shall always weigh combined purchases to get a completely accurate price.  So please wait for the invoice to be sent before paying. Please see below for a more detailed description.

  >>  Grading Information All grading is very strict & adheres to 'Record Collector' specifications. However, I have fine tuned them & they are explained below. All vinyl is examined closely under a strong light & play tested.

MINT Condition = A perfect copy! Almost impossible to find like this.

NEAR MINT Condition = Very nearly mint just slightly under, There may be a very few, very light paper surface sleeve rubs that can hardly be seen under strong light. This disc has been played a couple of times at most. The sleeve is virtually perfect - there is very minimal wear only.

EXCELLENT Condition = A clean & tidy copy that shows minimal defects. There will be light, very mild or very minor surface sleeve rubs. There will be no scratches. The cover will be very nice & clean with maybe minimal creasing, ringwear or edge rubbing wear etc...

NEAR EXCELLENT Condition = You can tell this record has been played a few times, but it has been well cared for. There will be minor surface marks only. The sleeve may have light, mild or very mild creasing, ringwear & very mild rubbing wear to the edges etc.... Overall, it will be a very serviceable copy that you will be pleased with.

Very Good Condition = A well played but very decent overall copy. There will be a few marks on the vinyl, but they won't be nasty scratches, just relatively light needle scuffs and sleeve removal marks, they will be noticeable but won't detract from play too much. Cover will show signs of storage/ ageing, e.g., creasing, slight folding, spinewear, ringwear or sticker tears etc... The record will not be trashed!!

Please note that I also use "+" or "-" symbols for this grading. A plus symbol is obviously at the top end of "Very Good" & is really not far from being in "near excellent" condition. The minus symbol obviously means it is at the lower end. This will mean that it is near to being in "Good+" condition.
>>  Postage Rates

AN INVOICE WILL BE SENT TO YOU VERY SOON AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS. PLEASE WAIT FOR THIS BEFORE PAYING.

Royal Mail have very recently increased their postage rates. So I have revised my postage costs to reflect their increases. (Please note that these prices include packaging costs too)
Double LPs are classed as two LPs. Also posters, inserts, etc.. can increase postage costs. One parcel must not exceed 2kg (approximately 4-6 LPS).

All records will be sent in high quality vinyl mailers with at least two card stiffeners either side of the LP or 7" Single. I use a cruciform box for larger orders (3-6 LPs). All parcels will be marked "Fragile" and dispatch time will generally be between 1-3 days after payment.

I will also remove the vinyl from the sleeve & place them in a re-sealable polythene sleeve. In order to prevent seam splits. Depending on the inner sleeve; I often remove the vinyl from the inner sleeve & place it in a separate plain paper, or polythene-lined, plain inner sleeve. I am very conscientious and careful when packaging your LP(s).

I consider my postage & packaging costs to be very transparent & very fair. Packaging costs will generally be between £0.80 to £1.50. I am not adding any further costs for handling, etc...

If you are uncertain about any of the above, or just simply want some information regarding any item, please do not hesitate to contact me. I welcome any question.

Remember to check out Lots of rare & quality vinyl! Most are UK 1st Pressings. It is quite likely that there will be more records by this artist, or records in a similar vein.
