DESCRIPTION:  The demand from the fans has been met. Remastered from a Maxell C-90, and a decent job it is, but it’s their performace that requires your attention and addition to your collection. On a cold January night, the Sonics Rendezvous Band took the stage opening for The Ramones in the 3,000 plus seat Masonic Auditorium. They were personally asked to be on the bill by The Ramones, who had befriended the band on the many occasions they played together at the Second Chance in Ann Arbor. But this night Sonics Rendezvous Band performed with an urgency previously unheard. Songs include an amazing version of Fred Smith's Sweet Nothin', as well as Electrophonic Tonic, Asteroid B-612, Gone With The Dogs, Love And Learn, Song L, and the classic City Slang. Spawned from the remnants of the MC5, Stooges, Rationals, and the Up, their music (and legendary it was and is) remained for the most part unheard by fans around the world having only issued the one-sided single City Slang during their lifetime (which will run you the better part of a “C” note for an original copy these days). The original release was nominated for best reissue at the 2008 Detroit Music Awards. ''Sounds like a punk Cream, but with a first-rate singer. A must have for Detroit diehards.''

All LPs are removed from their jackets and placed outside of the jacket for shipping. If an album comes sealed (and will be noted as such in the above description), it will be shipped whole unless you request that I open it up to place the disc outside of the jacket for shipping. Both jacket and disc are placed inside of an outer plastic sleeve before packing for shipping. I use professional corrugated record mailers with inside packing.

NEW LP:  This item is new and unplayed, but was received from a supplier without being shrink wrapped or cellophane wrapped; more common on imports but also many of the smaller independent US labels do not seal their LPs. These items are placed inside of a clear poly outer sleeve upon their receipt by me

MIX:  This sometimes appears in my title line and refers to a group's/artist's music having a mix of styles such a rock track with jazz then followed by a straight rock track followed by a psych rock track, etc., as opposed to a blues album with the album's tracks having predominantly one style.
