STEELY DAN "Aja" Original PROMO LP from 1977 (ABC AB-1006) with gatefold sleeve. Promotional edition as indicated by the GOLD PROMO STAMP on sleeve. Comes with original innersleeve with lyrics. There has been many Audiophile editions and reissues of this album, but the best sounding version is still the original ABC pressing (Yes, better than the MFSL and CISCO editions!). The main reason: The Master Tapes of AJA went missing soon after the album was issued in 1977, so everything that was pressed after the ABC label edition are from inferior sources. Will also include a nice quality copy (Not Original) of the Presskit that was issued to promote this album (Photo + 2 page bio). Their classic masterpiece. Includes: Aja, Deacon Blue, Josie, Peg, etc. Sleeve is VG+. Record is G+ (has scuffs and some scratches, but overall plays better than it looks, specially Side Two) .
