Hi! You're looking at an outstanding condition vinyl LP and a 1972 FIRST PRESSING on the Milestone Records label and a classic 1972 recording by former John Coltrane Quartet pianist McCOY TYNER titled "Sahara"--this is one of Tyner's greatest recordings and features also features the pianist on koto and flute, SONNY FORTUNE on flute, soprano saxophone and alto saxophone, CALVIN HILL on bass, percussion and reeds, and ALPHONSE MOUZON on drums, trumpet, reeds and percussion. The LP is a Milestone Records issue with the serial number MSP 9039 and is a 1st PRESSING, a STEREO issue and Audiofidelity pressing and was made in the United States in 1972.
This LP is in excellent condition and the vinyl is in strong VG+ condition and plays extremely well overall, with a slight scratch on the third track of side one which produces light tics and pops for a short duration, a few light discolored spots on the vinyl (possibly of factory origin) which only affect sound for the last few seconds on each side with some light surface noise and a single pop at the end of side one and a few light paper scuffs otherwise but NO other significant imperfections and just a few light tics near the beginning of side two and in a couple of other spots (THIS LP HAS BEEN SOUND-GRADED IN ITS ENTIRETY and sounds fantastic overall and is a wonderful listening experience despite the minor imperfections); the cover is in NEAR MINT condition and has a very slight discoloration on the upper edge of the back cover, slight scuffs on the upper center of the front surface and upper and lower center of the back surface and just very light shelfwear otherwise but NO other significant flaws--it's NOT a cutout!  The original plain white inner sleeve is also included.
Please Note:  I CAN ship records outside of the United States but will need to get a weight estimate based on the final PACKAGED weight for this record--I cannot ship for the $4.00 U.S. Media Rate and the quoted International Shipping Rate may differ from the final shipping rate due to packaged weight differences so please wait to make payment until a final invoice is received. Thanks!
Vinyl Grading Standards (unless otherwise indicated, LPs are visually graded)

Mint (or M) – Sealed and effectively perfect with no signs of wear or ever having been played.

Near Mint -- A record with only the slightest evidence of ever having been handled.

Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) A very clean record that has no marks aside from slight scuffs and abrasions caused by removal from a paper inner sleeve or perhaps a few marks on the label caused by a turntable spindle.

Very Good Plus (VG+) A record that has had a number of plays and may have some superficial scuffs, possibly mild to moderate spindle marks and / or possibly hairline scratches on the vinyl, which may produce some intermittent pops and possibly very light background noise.

Very Good (VG) A record that has generally been well cared for, but has seen a fair amount of play, with some scuffing. hairline scratches, spindle marks and / or light scratches.  Should play through well, with the possibility of more pops and more background noise.

Very Good Minus (VG-)  A record with significant scuffs, scratches, and spindle marks that should play through with moderate pops and surface noise, possibly of some duration.

Good (G) A record with will play through, but with significant pops, substantial background noise, and possibly intermittent skipping.

Poor (P) A record with MAJOR issues that will interfere with play, and will possibly be unplayable in part due to damage (I'll only offer an LP in this condition if it's an extreme rarity and / or for cover art display purposes).

A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this vinyl LP!
