I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
ZOOT MONEY`S BIG ROLL BAND.
IT SHOULD`VE BEEN ME.
ORIGINAL 1965 COLUMBIA MONO LP - 33SX 1734.
A strictly graded 1st pressing of this classic LP.
This is not a perfect example, if you need a top copy please do NOT bid!
The Cover / VG+ condition. The cover is solid with some age wear. This is a decent example with clean lamination.
The Record / Good+ / G+ condition. The disc has surface wear and some marks. The record still plays ok with some surface crackle and some clicks but for most it sounds fine. The marks on the record are not too deep. The record is not in very bad condition but it is also far from perfect hence the strict G+ grade. The record has a nice original gloss.
The Labels / EX Condition. Both labels are in great condition.
The original inner cover is also included with a couple of splits.
A new white inner is included with the sale. .................................................................................
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
Thanks for looking.
