I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
HAWKWIND.

HURRY ON SUNDOWN / MIRROR OF ILLUSION.
ORIGINAL 1970 UK DEMO LIBERTY 7" SINGLE.
This is very hard to find, you may wait years to see another!!!!!
The disc has G1 / G1 stamping codes.
The Record / VG condition. I graded as VG condition as the 45 has a little vinyl mist to the playing surfaces due to the record being stored in a PVC cover for many years. This is mainly on the dead wax. This haze is not bad and mainly seen under halogen bulb and not in normal light! Please see my feedback. Please note this is not heavy fogging, just a little!!!! The disc has just a little light surface wear but no bad deep or nasty marks.
The record plays well with some surface crackle on the intros and a little under the music. I will give a play grade of VG+.
The Labels / VG+ / EX condition. Side 1 label is graded as VG+ condition as it has a pen mark. The side 2 label is in EX condition.
The Cover / VG+ condition.  .................................................................................
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear.  The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
Thanks for looking.
