Never played the 45s. Item is open but new inside. I alrrady have multiple other versions and formats of the album so this was never needed and didn't fit with the collection. Can not be labeled as new becuase the cellophane was removed, but the records themselves were never used. To be honest I thought or figured would have a booklet inside of some sort, but didn't. I think that was a missed opportunity on their part but in the end I guess the music matters most. Outside of boxset has very minimal normal regular storage wear from age. Nothing notable but some minor marks or indents. Outside box can not be called "mint" but overall everything is fantastic.
