Title: In the Good Old Summer Time
Artist: Haydn Quartet
Label & Number: Monarch 1793
Defects: Rough start, some rubs and needle wear
NOTE: We obtain all label images by using a scanner. The fine white horizontal lines visible in the image are the result of
scratches on the scanner glass. They are NOT a defect on the record.
Overall Condition - Visual Grade (1 to 10 scale): 6
Comments: Great barber shop style harmony. Plays OK, but with some tics and pops and surface noise
Featured This Week: During the first decade of the last century (1900 - 1910) The Victor Talking Machine Company, The Columbia Graphophone and many others smaller companies produced an amazing amount of records - everything from Ragtime to Grand Opera. We came upon several boxes of Victor Monarch and Columbia 10" records from this era, and thought you might enjoy looking (and hopefully bidding) on them. Please be a little forgiving on the grading - these records are all 110 - 120 years old!

It's time to start selling my personal collection of 5000+ records. I'll be listing all types of premium cylinders and discs containing historic, popular and classical selections. Look for concert and opera cylinders, Berliners and other early discs, political and spoken word recordings, rare jazz and blues, unique Edison material, vintage classical vocals selections, rare and unusual labels, colorful picture discs, limited edition records, personality and vaudeville artists, classical pianists and instrumentalists, scarce overseas issues, and much, much more. I've spent over half a century accumulating this collection, and I want to see the records go to good homes. So again, be sure to add this site to your Favorites list and check back often.
