The Beatles * WHITE ALBUM * UK MONO LP
1968 1ST Pressing PMC 7067-7068 No.0613471
Stampers:
Side 1 - 3GMA
Side 2 - 5GML
Side 3 - ?JJA (can’t quite see mother number on this side but I’d assume it’s a lower number in line with all the others used for this copy)
Side 4 - 2OG
Cover: No.0613471: VG+
Rare high 600k number. Garrod made a batch of around 25000 extra mono sleeves with the numbers 0600000 upwards to cover surplus mono discs. These don’t turn up often and are considerably rarer.
There are NO seam splits or Any writing.
Laminate is very glossy and has very little rubbing or dulling.
A nice glossy cover with only a few small creases and has managed to stay much whiter than many copies I see.
Some rubs down spine edge and light corner wear, slightly more on the bottom right, there is some wear to the opening seams also, please check images as part of the condition description.
Discs: VG+
All sides are lovely, glossy and clean but there are a couple of light marks which to my finger are not feelable and should not affect play.
Side 4 has a mark which is pictured.
Labels: Nice and clean with some light spindle wear, they do have EMI credit and ‘Sold In Uk’ text. Side 4 has a KT tax stamp.
Black Inner Sleeves: VG+
Prints: EX
No protector sheet. These were not spacers as commonly thought. They were to protect the first print from rubbing inside the sleeve.
Poster: VG with some wear and light creasing.
