Notes:  Unusually this record comes with it's original Elektra inner sleeve which is by no means a common occurrence.

Beware of reissues.  In researching values here on eBay I found no less than three items that claimed to be the 1967 first pressing but they were in fact the 1969 2nd pressing simply because they had the red label with white printing. 

Perhaps the confusion sets in when both issues are correctly referred to as The Doors debut album.  Yes indeed they are but there's only one first pressing from 1967 and that has a tan label.   Otherwise you have a reissue.

 Issued on Elektra EKS-74007 with tan labels in 1967 and the first pressing.  
Original Inner Sleeves:  a side seam is partially unglued (not torn).  The other side seam has a 2-3 inch split at the center otherwise a clean item.      

Vinyl Condition:  VG++.

Cover Condition:  slight ring/edge wear, crease to bottom right otherwise    No stickers, No cutouts, No writing - just as seen in my photo. 

Labels: Name written small to one side.
