First Japanese Pressing
Wedding Album By John Lennon and Yoko Ono Tokyo: Toshiba-EMI Ltd., (1977). Boxed 12" LP (long-play) record with inserts.
EMI / Odeon Stereo EAS-80702
More a Fluxus / conceptual sound art than a vocal recording. Inserts include, a 4-page Japanese translation sheet, a 16-page book "The Press," a large poster "The Wedding," a tri-folded insert with a Lennon drawing, and a large photograph of a slice of Lennon and Ono's wedding cake.
Additionally, a gatefold lp sleeve illustrated with photos from the Amsterdam "Bed-In" for Peace (March 1969) contains the LP recording from John and Yoko; the whole contained in a card solander box illustrated with a wedding photo and title to upper, and a separate color copy of their marriage certificate tipped to the underside of the lid.
The first Japanese pressing record is in very good condition with no visible marks that would affect play (I do not have a working player to test). Gatefold sleeve has some soiling / foxing, obi strip is torn with tape repair and piece missing, box has closed split on one edge and some additional minor storage wear.
