Led Zeppelin - "II" (Two) – original first pressing vinyl LP. Plum label.

Released in 1969 on Atlantic ‎(cat: 588 198).

Both sides of the record have been play graded on a Rega Deck with Roksan Stylus - listening through AKG (K550) headphones. The record plays through fine except for one skip during 'Whole Lotta Love'. Whilst there is nothing on the playing surface to suggest why this is I have tried the record on other turntables and it also skips during this track. Other than this the record plays really well with that fantastic warm sound that you only get with vinyl. Some tracks are play graded as excellent (ex-/ex), whilst on the quieter tracks the grading is vg++/ex- (although this was through the headphones which pick up any bit of static / surface noise). The sleeve is graded very good, there are no splits but the spine shows a fair amount of wear and their is ringwear to the reverse of the gatefold cover. The original polythene lined sleeve (with the text UK Patent No 1,072,844) is in excellent condition (all gradings are in accordance with those published in Record Collector magazine - please email if unfamiliar with these).
