ELTON JOHN 5 X LP BOX SET 1978 DJM LSP14512 CONDITION IS EXCELLENT, RARE ITEM 

I am in the process of slimming out my record collection, over the years I have amassed several thousand and have decided that rather than just sitting on a shelf, they are better being enjoyed by a new owner.

I have visually graded the record as it is not feasible to listen to every one again before I sell it.

I have tried to honestly describe the condition of the cover inner (and any inserts) as well as the record

Box weighs over 1kg so with secure packaging will be over 1.25kg

so uk postage will be £3.50 and international signed for £17 (Europe) and £26 for the rest of the World.  

International ( signed / tracked – the only way I will send outside of the UK as I have had too many problems with missing or damaged items in the past)

If you are returning an item from outside of the UK and outside of the EEC its very important that you mark return on the customs form because if you do not do this and I get a letter with an import charge on it I will not pay it as it is a return and the LP will simply get sent back to you as returned goods are not charged for by UK Customs

Inevitably there will be occasions when you do not agree with my description, if this is the case then please let me know before you leave bad feedback as we can usually sort out any problems.

Should you wish to return an LP ( as set out in Ebay policies) the buyer is responsible for return postage, meaning I pay one way the buyer pays the other way.

 

MINT M

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT EX

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD VG

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD G

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR F

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR P

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD B

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
