***This Vinyl LP is one of the very first issued after the screening of Presleys 1968 TV Special on December 3rd 1968.I know because the item was purchased by me.

***At that time [December 1968] the album was issued in the U.S.A but not in Britain.A record shop in Berwick Street,London W1 brought in imports from the U.S.A and in December of that year I went to London to collect this gem.

***After almost 50 years it has worn reasonably well.The cover has survived quite well but I did do a nasty and joined a seam with Sticky tape [which I could shoot myself for ] but considering some of the disasters I did at that time its not too bad.

***The Vinyl LP is scratch free and nice and clean.The live sections of the show were recorded in Mono but the Production numbers are all in Stereo.

***The inner cover although split on the edges is of great interest as it is advertising Presley Stereo 8 Catridges which never caught on with the public and died out as the music cassette came in.Had I had the knowledge to have bought them then they would have commanded a small fortune today.
