Description
Up for sale is a Vinyl version of "Since There Were Circles" by Bob Lind. Original 1971 US pressing on Capitol Records (ST-780).
Number of records: 1
Record Condition: Audio=VG+/VG. Plays great, with a few clicks and soft pops on a few songs. Visual=VG. Both sides have light surface marks, as well as a few more prominent marks, which do not affect play. Side 2 has a patch of more prominent scuffs about 1 1/4" wide, stretching across the end of the 1st track and the beginning of the last track. Not sure if these are pressing defects or marks caused by removal from the sleeve, but at any rate they do not affect play.
Sleeve Condition: Still in shrink wrap. Hole punch near top right corner of front cover, goes through inner sleeve to back cover. Some wear along opening edges.
Everyone has a different set of grading criteria... So, to avoid any confusion, here's ours!
We basically follow the Goldmine Grading System
I do not tend to describe/grade the label on my records unless there is some obvious flaw... so if the label condition is important to you please ask me and I will let you know its condition!
Sealed: Only
used for sealed records... Sealed records are assumed to be mint but,
since they're sealed, I can't tell the condition for sure! It is good
practice to guess the condition to be Near Mint.
Near Mint: Not perfect, but darn close! A very minor scuff and very little else can appear on
the vinyl. This will most likely have occurred during packaging, or removing
the record from the inner sleeve. Has been handled with extreme care. It
should play without any noise over the flaw. The flaw should be very hard to
see.
VG+: VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs
or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience.
Slight warps that don’t affect the sound are OK.
VG: Light scratches, slight background noise possible. When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be
audible, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and
ending. But the noise won’t overpower the music otherwise.
Good: Record plays without skipping but does have surface noise. Scratches, scuffs and groove wear all possible on this condition.
