This listing is for an AC/DC 12" Australian let there be rock. Lived in a plastic sleeve since I bought it and sat in my wardrobe probably 30 years plus, and very much doubt I have ever played it, I had about 6 other let here be rock albums to choose from but will say it is used just to be safe- probably as nice as you could find for an album this age, sleeve is very good too, just the odd fine crease in corner etc -can see a little white mark on front too, please inspect photos and don't hesitate to ask for more if unsure of anything..
Was a big fan and collector of anything AC/DC in the late 70's/ early
80's. but sort of lost my way after Bon died so the records got packed
away and have sat there ever since forgotten about and not seen daylight for the best
part of 35 years - I
digress. Anyway, sadly, though the time has come
to let them go. Out of touch now and
doubt there is anything mega rare but guessing there might be one or two
bits that are of interest, probably tops is a signed High Voltage album
from when
they came to Liverpool (1978 ( I met them at Moat house hotel during Powerage tour, I think, I'm getting old and a long story)
which will probably list at the end, if I can let it go of course - keep
changing my mind on that one! Its a long time since I sold any records
on ebay so not an expert on packing these, I have some record mailers ordered, guess will probably add a
bit more packing if the mailers don't look good enough when they
arrive, but packing tips always welcome of course. I have no idea how to
grade, the means to test or to clean these records either! In saying that, quite a few of the collection will have had very little and some even zero use and been stored in a warm dry wardrobe and quite a few kept is plastic covers so sleeves have survived well, I had
multiples of most records so only played the one version which then got a
lot of use on very high volume - of course. If you want specific close ups don't hesitate to
ask. I will do my best to mention any issues I can see but my eyesight
is not what is used to be so it is vital you inspect photos closely to
make you own mind up on the condition, if in doubt, ask. Happy to combine the records
where possible without extra cost but please check first.
----------------------""" PLEASE READ ALL BELOW BEFORE YOU BID"""--------------------------------------------
The below is written with the sole intention of trying to make this a completely satisfactory experience for both parties. I, like you I am sure, do not want or need the hassle of things going wrong. So please read and understand all below before bidding.
Postage quoted is (unless specified) is for uninsured/untracked post. I pack well but once the item is shipped I have no control over how it's handled so in ALL cases I only accept returns if the item is not as described and of course I will cover all return costs, but damage ( IE parts that clearly show attached in the listing photo and clearly come adrift or broken in transit) or loss "MUST BE COVERED BY THE OPTIONAL POST INSURANCE". I always retain a copy of proof of posting. The post charges you see are to help (but does not remotely) cover costs of everything entailed in getting the item to you, ie petrol, time, materials and parking etc, not just the actual cost to posting the item. Returns are not accepted outside the UK as totally impractical. I only post to the Address as supplied by ebay/paypal and do not ship to PO boxes. Also please pay within 48 hours, it causes huge inconvenience and extra cost doing multiple trips to the post office, an unpaid item case will be opened after 2 days. If you have feedback less than 10 you are still welcome to bid but send me a message to let me know you are genuine or I may cancel your bid! Ask as many questions and for as many extra photos of the listed item as you like, but "BEFORE YOU BID", to satisfy yourself 100% that the item listed is EXACTLY what and in the condition you need it to be. I will always try to take good photos and describe well but I freely admit I am not an expert in anything I list so, whilst unlikely, it is not impossible that I could miss out something in the description/photos that you think is vitally important. So please ask away.
