Hello, and thanks for looking. Please excuse any not-so-great pics; still getting the hang of it.

This is a definite mystery item... it's a lot of 3 of what appears to be unfolded and unused picture sleeves for the 1964 Beatles 45 "Why," backed with "Cry For A Shadow," on MGM records, K13227, one of the rarer Beatles sleeves. We acquired a number of these from the collection of a longtime hardcore Beatles collector who stopped collecting in the early 80s. There is no record of the sleeve ever being reissued. Each measures about 14" by 8" and all are in near-excellent shape, with some light darkening on the reverse of 2. The only known repros ever made are 7" wide, too narrow to accommodate a 45. However, on these, the red ares -- which would be the portion that made up the sleeve after folding -- is  7 1/4" wide, which would accept a 45. To that end, we honestly have no idea of what these are. As we cannot say with absolute certainty they are in fact unfolded 1964 originals, we're starting them with a relatively low opening bid -- this could be a major loss for us, but in the interest of fairness, it seems to be the best way to go. Due to this, they're also being offered as is; no returns. They're fantastic display pieces, either as is or folded to hold a record. Definitely not something you'll see often.
