Yet another new full length release from Thee Oh Sees and this one, yet again, very different from their last. Castlemania was largely recorded at home by John Dwyer with input from band mates, while this one is a full band recording done in the studio helmed by (GENIUS!) Chris Woodhouse. The results are stunning. According to John Dwyer, "As I'm sure most would agree, Castlemania was more of a vocal tirade. This one's meant to pummel and throb."
