Mac Miller broke into the rap mainstream with his 2011 mixtape, Best Day Ever, which spawned his first charting single: the big-dollar dreaming "Donald Trump." Now the rapper has prepped the album's remastered fifth anniversary edition – its first wide commercial release – out June 3rd via Rostrum Records. 
Best Day Ever was Miller's fifth mixtape, but his first major foray into commercial music. The 16-track set was helmed by nine producers, including the legendary Just Blaze on "All Around the World." While Miller released videos for four tracks, the Sufjan Stevens-sampling "Donald Trump" became his breakout single, with more than 100 million streams on YouTube.
The success of Best Day Ever set the groundwork for Miller's debut commercial LP, 2011's Blue Slide Park, which peaked at Number One on the Billboard 200. 
Though the swag-heavy "Donald Trump" has become a Miller staple, the rapper isn't so fond of the real-life real estate mogul/GOP presidential hopeful now. Trump threatened to sue Miller for royalties after the song went platinum, launching an unlikely beef. In March, the rapper appeared on The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore to make his mutual derision clear: "The messed up thing is, I don't even know if you're evil," Miller said. "I think you're just such an egomaniacal, attention-thirsty, psychopathic, power-hungry, delusional waste of skin and bones that you'll do, say or allow anything if it means you'll just get one more minute in the limelight."
Miller released his third studio album, GO:OD AM, in 2015.
