The Payback was originally scheduled asthe soundtrack to the blaxploitation movie Hell Up In Harlem but was bizarrely rejected by the director as not James Brown enough! Obviously that man had cloth ears; this is now considered a high point in JBs career & a landmark funk album. The pasted gatefold sleeve is Excellent
with minimal sign of its age & no deletion cuts. The vinyl discs
are Excellent with very few signs of play. Recommended
