In the 50's, 60's & early 70's, it was common to find collections like this of hits of the day done by unknown studio hacks, frequently from Nashville as is the case with this one. The records were intended to be sold for a fraction of what hit records went for and would usually be found in supermarkets or would be sold on TV. This fine LP features a young Jimmy Buffett a few years before he found fame & fortune. This was his very first recording and is very rare!

Record has some writing on both labels with some kind of marker (see photo), but other than that record is in nearly perfect shape. Cover has some slight wear on the front and a name in ball point near the top of Buffett's head. The upper seam has a tiny bit of wear on the top seam where the record sits. Top & bottom seam have a tiny bit bit of tape near the opening. Spine is good. Back slick has some yellowing but is otherwise decent shape. OVERALL GREAT SHAPE & VERY RARE!
