1970s Sonny Stitt Soul Funk Private Label Photo Cover LP (Tornado)
Sonny Stitt – “Tornado” (Jazz Masters 3). This soul-funk LP was recorded in Grand Rapids, Michigan at Cinema Sound, re-recorded at Sound Patterns in Farmington, Michigan, and released on this label out of University City, MO. It came with two different covers (according to Discogs.com, “Both releases are from the mid 70's - probably released at the same time” and contents are identical. Cuts include: “Tornado”; “We’ve Only Just Begun”; “Escanaba Beat”; “Spinning Wheel” “Natural High”; and “By My Side.” Cover is in VG to VG+ condition (has some light scratches on cover.) Record is in M- condition. Postage will be paid by purchaser.
