Johnny Dacus (The Tennessee Mountain Fiddler) – “John’s Mule” (Old Homestead 90042). Good 1975 LP by the fiddle player from Cumberland Gap, TN who died in 1995. He played fiddle,guitar, and mandolin and [layed with Jimmy Martin, The Osborne Brothers, Charlie Moore, and Doyle Neikirk. On this Lp he is vacked by J T Gray on bass, Charlie Collins on guitar, and Kevin Coll on banjo. Cuts include: “John’s Mule”; “Orange Blossom Special”; “Skater's Waltz”;’ “Arkansas Traveler”; “Black Mountain Rag”; “Back Up and Push”; “Johnny's Waltz”; “Sugar Cane”; “Billy in the Low Ground”; “Lost Indian”; “Sally Goodwin”; and “Pass Me Not.” Record is still sealed. Postage will be paid by purchaser.
