I bought this new when it came out.  I took off the shrinkwrap, and looked at it, and showed it to a few friends, and that was it.  It has never seen the needle of a record player; never been played, and it has been in this 10" vinyl protective sleeve since I took off the shrinkwrap.  
With that said, this is as MINT as it gets.  I just took one last look at all of the corners front and back, up close, and this is Perfect to me.  You will not be disappointed.  
I have mailed countless vinyl records so please don't worry.  I am a collector, too!  I will use a vinyl shipping mailer, and remove the vinyl from it's cover to protect it in shipping, and also reinforce the cover so it won't get crushed.  This will be safe :)
