The Beatles Rubber Soul vinyl LP First UK mono pressing with yellow and black Parlophone labels and 'sold in the UK....' text Cat. no. PMC 1267
First press loud cut matrices, XEX 579-1 and XEX 580-1
Cover is strictly graded as VG. Small amount of wear to bottom seam at extreme left and right. Decent spine. There is an inch tear at opening edge near Ringo's face that a neat repair could alleviate most of the damage. Name on back - which is clean. Inner is a replacement. I don't have a spare Emitex one but they are not hard to get hold of Labels have very moderate spindle traces. On the a side there is a tiny stain just near 'the' on the outer rim text that is just about visible on the photo. Vinyl visually is VG. Light hairlines under strong light and the odd scuff. It isn't trashed though and just wasn't properly cared for in the past. Has been played on a decent SONY deck. No skips, jumps or distortion. The odd very brief split second tick. The production on this is amazing. I had never realised before. Good honest playing copy
