Yo. Shipping $150 records Media Mail is crazy. Check it out..there’s NO insurance included in Media Mail. Also, the P.O. will not consider a claim if parcel shipped Media Mail. On top of that, it takes 7-9 days to be delivered. What people don’t realize is that your record isn’t strapped to a turtle or just suspended in some parallel universe that moves at half speed. No. It’s actually just that your hella expensive, rare, collectible vinyl is just hanging out in a bin in some hot, humid warehouse...WITHOUT INSURANCE.
Nah. I ship your record in a box designed for records. With bubble wrap, cardboard inserts and care. Actual, clean inserts. Not a patchwork of ripped up pizza box cardboard held together with band-aids. Also, I clearly label your box as “FRAGILE”. With a clean sticker. Then, not only do I choose Priority Mail but I pay for insurance. I make sure your record arrives exactly as I would want mine to.
Oh, and I ship today too. Any orders placed before 1:00pm PST will go out that day. That’s M-F and some Saturdays.
