This 35th anniversary edition of Unguarded is a limited run vinyl featuring remastered original tracks, live versions of some fan favorites, and commentary directly from Amy about the recording process over 35 years ago!

When this album was originally released in 1985, and distributed by Word Records, there were 4 different covers. Each spine had a different letter. If you managed to have all 4 covers it spelled the name "WORD" This 35th anniversary pressing has all 4 covers in one!

Of all the albums in Amy's long illustrious catalog, Unguarded is probably the most epic and important of them all. This was a controversial time in Contemporary Christian Music, when many artists wanted to record music that would be heard by the masses, but had reservations and concerns about whether they would be accepted by two seemingly antithetical worlds.

Amy was able to garner a massive hit with the song, "Find A Way" , which paved the way to radio play. A Seemingly innocent song about love with a final chorus that was impactful:

"If our God His Son not sparing
Came to rescue you
Is there any circumstance
That He can't see you through"
