GRADING is similar to the Goldmine grading system, I prefer the better conservative grading. For instance, if an album is visually viewed under a bright 200 watt light bulb, and a hairline is visible, it is NOT near a Mint(-) grade. It is a EX. I rarely use the plus/minus signs, they tend to be very subjective. A VG- record is exactly the same as a G+ I see absolutely no difference.
I have bought hundreds of records on-line and was usually disappointed upon receipt due to the over grading and lack of respect for customer service.  I have high expectations with record albums, I like them clean and in the best possible condition, it is the same expectation I pass along to my wonderful customers.

1) SEALED - Never opened since it was made at the factory. (Sealed records are NON-RETURNABLE if opened).
2) MINT (-) Vinyl playing surface has a full mirror shine. Dust clings to surface, the record has seen very little use. Jacket grade can be different than the vinyl grade.
3) EX or VG+ Has see some turntable action, however the previous owner has taken extremely good care of the overall visual appearance of the playing surface and jacket. It may have a small finger scuff, or very light hair-line mark.
4) VG Has a full mirror shine, with obvious handling, like taking the vinyl out of the inner sleeve and touching the playing surface leaving fingerprints. Heavy use removing the record from the inner sleeve multiply times and creating light Brush marks, or sleeve scuffs.
5) GOOD Playable with a full shine, however there are several visible mini-marks, hairlines, scuffs, nothing deep and never a feel-able dig, scratch or damage to playing surface. My “Good” condition albums are fully playable and enjoyable with very little audio distractions, possibly a light sizzle but no hard pops, ticks, clicks. A Good LP never skips, jumps or is warped.
6) POOR - I don’t sell records that can’t be played, but I will use the Poor condition for any jacket cover that has a seam split, and heavy wear. Any jackets that are in poor condition I won’t sell unless it is a hard to find or in demand record.

I have devised a scientific point system for grading record albums. It is extremely strict. It covers Audible grade, Visual grade and Jacket grade. Sometimes I might consider a record only in “Good” condition, even thought it visually will look and sound way better. Buy with confidence. Every single record has been play graded, and if necessary cleaned.

Mailed in a Uline mailer made for record albums, with cardboard stuffers and bubblewrap with the record outside of its jacket cover to prevent internal damage in transit.
